**Job Profile: On-site Operations Leader – Telecommunications (Radio Base / Microwave)** **Job Objective** Lead and supervise the technical team in the installation, integration (RF & MW), maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio base equipment and associated systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, quality, and client-defined schedule standards. **Key Responsibilities and Tasks** **Crew Management** * Supervise and lead the field technical team during radio base and/or microwave installation and integration activities. * Monitor progress toward assigned objectives. * Provide operational and technical support during on-site activities. **Installation, Integration, and Maintenance** * Supervise installation of cabinets, antennas, radios, power supplies (AC & DC), and transmission/reception equipment at radio base sites. * Ensure proper integration and service testing of RAN equipment (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G). * Perform and validate preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications systems. **Compliance with Standards and Procedures** * Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with client-defined technical and safety procedures. * Validate technical documentation, checklists, and quality reports. * Comply with local and international telecommunications and safety regulations. **Quality Control** * Verify functional test results and acceptance test reports (ATP). * Resolve technical incidents on-site promptly. * Guarantee timely and compliant deliveries meeting client standards. **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)** * Implement and supervise on-site safety measures, including proper use of PPE. * Coordinate risk management for critical activities. * Conduct safety training for the team prior to commencing work. **Communication and Reporting** * Maintain regular communication with supervisors and project coordinators. * Prepare daily/weekly progress, incident, and resource requirement reports. * Record progress in Ericsson’s management platforms. **Resource Management** * Supervise and control on-site usage of tools, materials, and equipment. * Manage inventories of spare parts and consumables required for operations. * Optimize resources to prevent delays and cost overruns. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** * Technical diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field (mandatory). * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Networks, or similar (preferred). **Experience** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision, integration, and maintenance of radio base systems. * Experience leading field crews or technical teams. * Practical knowledge of Ericsson equipment (RBS, AIR, MINI-LINK, 5G Massive MIMO, etc.). **Technical Skills** * Mobile networks (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G). * Diagnosis and resolution of radio system faults. * Proficiency with test instruments (Site Master, power meters, etc.). * Familiarity with Ericsson platforms (ENM, ISDP, OSS). **Management Skills** * Leadership and motivation of technical teams. * Planning, organization, and resource management. * Ability to solve problems under pressure. **Communication Skills** * Clear communication with clients, supervisors, and work teams. * Ability to draft technical and progress reports. **Certifications (Preferred)** · Working at Heights and Rescue. * Rigging * Ericsson technical certifications. * First Aid. * Electrical Safety Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $14,999.00 – $15,999.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
