




DESCRIPTION **Human Resources Manager – Querétaro (Latin America & Corporate Luxembourg)** ===================================================================================== **Position Description** A global company in the steel industry is seeking a **Human Resources Manager** to lead the talent strategy for its Querétaro site and comprehensively coordinate HR operations across **all Latin American offices**, ensuring direct alignment with the **global corporate office in Luxembourg** and the regional office in **Chicago**. This is a **newly created position**, resulting from the establishment of the HR department at the plant and the expansion of operations in the region. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------- ### **Regional Leadership** * Serve as the primary HR contact for the Querétaro site. * Oversee, align, and strengthen HR processes across **Latin American offices**, implementing global corporate standards. * Maintain strategic communication and reporting flows with **Luxembourg** (global corporate) and **Chicago**. ### **Personnel Management and Compliance** * Manage labor relations, incidents, contracts, and compliance with Mexico’s **Federal Labor Law (LFT)**, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and labor authorities. * Ensure compliance during internal and external audits, as well as with labor regulations in other Latin American countries. ### **Regional Talent Acquisition, Development, and Management** * Lead recruitment for operational, technical, and administrative positions in Mexico and Latin America. * Supervise regional training, development, career planning, and succession management. * Guarantee compliance and registration with Mexico’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) and equivalent agencies in other Latin American countries. ### **Culture and Communication** * Drive initiatives related to workplace climate, organizational culture, occupational safety, and internal communication. * Coordinate events and initiatives that foster regional integration and alignment with corporate cultural values. ### **HR KPIs and International Reporting** * Establish HR KPIs for Mexico and Latin America. * Prepare recurring executive reports for **Luxembourg** and **Chicago**. * Lead and develop the local and regional HR team. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field. * **12 years of experience** in HR within the manufacturing, automotive, or steel industry. * Experience managing **multiple sites or regions**. * Advanced expertise in Mexico’s Federal Labor Law (LFT); general knowledge of Latin American labor regulations is desirable. * ERP proficiency: SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar. * **Advanced English is mandatory** (ongoing communication with Luxembourg and Chicago). * Competencies: regional leadership, multicultural management, conflict resolution, executive communication, organization, and sense of urgency. **Offer** ---------- * **Competitive monthly salary** (based on experience). * **Premium benefits**: * Work modality: **On-site**. * Location: **Jurica Industrial Park, Querétaro**. * Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with occasional Fridays working remotely.
