Train others in specific skills and reduce waste. **Job Summary:** This position will lead workflow and processes in assigned work centers; training the work center team in continuous improvement and incorporating change. **Responsibilities:** * Uses judgment to determine when to escalate issues to others. * Recommends and implements solutions within the designated area of responsibility. * Solves technical problems related to process, equipment, and product. * Contributes to problem-solving activities. * Understands processes and knowledge of tools and techniques, and can apply them across multiple work areas; possesses the ability to train others in specific skills. * Uses resources to learn the business. * Facilitates and trains others. * Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes. * Transfers knowledge from one situation to another. * Demonstrates accessibility and openness. * Establishes credibility. * Demonstrates excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills. * Uses Watlow’s enterprise system to achieve results. * Demonstrates WW Leader behaviors. **Commitments:** * Build product according to design using work instructions/standards. * Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all team members. * Coordinate and meet MO delivery requirements with quality product. * Initiate/update daily production plan to achieve Takt, including daily resource plan. * Train and coach cellular team members. * Lead Gemba walks and follow up on actions related to Cell Improvement, Standard Work \& PSCs (Problem Solving Centers). * Follow the Andon process. * Provide training while working. * Create and audit standard work in assigned areas of responsibility, aligned with Engineering, Manufacturing, and CI. * Verify daily 6S compliance. * Communicate any issues, team concerns, etc., to the team leader. * Follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Lead Operator. * Be responsible for training within the work cell and ensure training records are properly maintained. **Requirements:** * Completed high school diploma. * 6 months in current position. * No disciplinary actions or unjustified absences in the last 6 months
