Job stability **Position: Prepress Specialist (Flexible Packaging)** **Location:** Zapopan, Jalisco **Work Mode:** On-site \| Full-time **Department:** Operations / Prepress **Industry:** Flexible packaging **Purpose of the Position** Apply prepress processes to our customers’ designs, ensuring proper optimization throughout project development while meticulously verifying graphic and technical elements to prevent errors during printing and flexible packaging production. Please complete the pre-screening questionnaire: **Main Responsibilities** * Perform the full **prepress process**, verifying color count, separations, and necessary protections for accurate reproduction. * Ensure that all information used always corresponds to the **latest version authorized by the customer**. * Prepare and update **Finished Product Specifications (FPS)** according to information provided by the commercial department in the ERP. * Update status, versions, and progress of prepress work. * Timely input into the **ERP, prepress checklist, and status tracking**. * Maintain an organized and up-to-date **digital product file**. * Manage shipping and receipt of **physical samples, color proofs, and materials** with customers and suppliers. * Verify that finished product samples comply with established specifications, documenting and reporting deviations. * Validate that information sent to suppliers is correct and current. * Confirm **dimensions, inks, and bag type** with the commercial team for quotation processes. * Address internal **corporate design requirements**. * Develop, print, and assemble **dummies**. * Identify and control critical process points, participating in corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. * Comply with the **Management System (SIGMA)** guidelines and position objectives. * Maintain order and care for equipment and workspace. **Requirements** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum **4 years of prepress experience**, preferably in **rotogravure** and flexible packaging. **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Illustrator and Photoshop (advanced level). * Knowledge of **prepress processes for packaging**. * Proficiency in Office (basic level). * **Intermediate–advanced English**. * Familiarity with **Esko software** (focused on flexible packaging). **Desirable Knowledge:** * ISO 9001 and ISO 22000\. * Understanding of flexible packaging structures and materials. **Availability:** * Full-time. **Key Competencies** * High attention to detail * Organizational and document control skills * Effective communication with internal departments and suppliers * Quality focus and commitment to continuous improvement * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Openness to change and new procedures **Position Conditions** * Adherence to departmental procedures, systems, and formats. * Work with quality, speed, organization, and initiative. * Active participation in resource and process optimization. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * Statutory benefits * Job stability * Professional development in a growing company * Technical and professional environment **Application:** Interested candidates please send an updated CV to: **reclutamiento@masterflex.com.mx** Job Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $18,000\.00 \- $22,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
