




Position Summary: Supervise overall store operations, leading the team to foster an optimal work environment and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring compliance with processes and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and motivate the store team. 2. Ensure complete customer satisfaction. 3. Manage store operations and inventory. Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for the team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, fostering an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and follow up on area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing daily cash counts for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting cash register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
