Job Summary: Supervises dispatch routes, manages carriers, optimizes freight rates, and ensures inventory availability, focusing on efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the search for and negotiation with transportation providers. 2. Manage product transfer operations between warehouses and plants. 3. Ensure compliance with security and quality procedures (BASC). * Plan and supervise the execution of dispatch routes and the performance of local carriers to ensure on-time and complete delivery (OTIF) to customers. * 'Lead the search, negotiation, and qualification of transportation providers for local operations, aiming to optimize freight rates and secure required capacity. * 'Manage product transfer operations between warehouses and/or plants nationwide to ensure inventory availability where needed. * 'Analyze and control the plant's freight cost structure, identifying opportunities to optimize routes and transportation modes to improve efficiency. * 'Implement corporate-defined cost-saving and efficiency initiatives in local operations, and propose initiatives to enhance transportation management. * 'Ensure compliance with security (BASC) and quality procedures across all loading and transportation operations to guarantee product and personnel integrity. * 'Report incidents related to product quality and food safety, and manage appropriate corrective actions in routine activities to foster a positive Food Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement culture. * 'Report incidents related to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection, and manage appropriate corrective actions in routine activities to foster a positive Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection culture. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education - Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience Keywords: resident, supervisor, team leader, assistant manager, responsible person, coordinator, manager, captain, distribution, distribucion
