Position Summary: Support academic and administrative activities by producing audiovisual materials and managing radio or auditorium booths. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring and proper use of radio booth and auditorium equipment 2. Recording and editing of content for radio and streaming platforms 3. Technical support for institutional events and equipment maintenance POSITION OBJECTIVE: - Support academic and administrative activities of Academic Coordination units, as well as institutional events requiring audiovisual production and management of radio or auditorium booths. · RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor the usage and proper operation of the Radio Booth, auditorium equipment, and all audio/video equipment under their responsibility. 2. Record and edit content for Sintonía UVP radio station and upload it to streaming platforms. 3. Prepare semester quotations, equipment and material purchase requests for assigned areas, and submit them to their area Director for follow-up. 4. Collaborate with Technology & Systems Department and Logistics & Physical Plant Department to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment in assigned areas. 5. Provide technical support for audio setup and video projection during institutional events. 6. Operate the auditorium booth equipment and train designated personnel for its use in exceptional cases. 7. Conduct inventories for assigned areas and keep them updated. 8. Formulate and propose projects and/or programs aimed at improving service quality and creating new services. 9. Participate in university-established improvement programs and projects. 10. Perform other duties consistent with the nature of the position and as assigned by their supervisor. 11. Develop a timetable for all productions. 12. Assist in audio recording and shot capture for productions required by Casa Productora. 13. Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, logs, masters, and inventories of both video and audio copies, organized by client, product, job, date, etc. 14. Carry out institutional support activities for the academic area as directed by superiors. 15. Contribute to developing academic area audiovisual materials for university participation in competitions, congresses, and other events involving students or faculty. 16. Compile a semester report on activities for submission to the Directorate of Arts and Humanities and the General Academic Directorate. 17. Comply with, and ensure compliance with, departmental regulations and guidelines, as well as those established by university statutes, regulatory provisions, and directives from senior authorities. · REQUIREMENTS: - Education: Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Audio or related field, certified. - Knowledge: Proficiency in recording equipment, radio program broadcasting, and audio/video production processes. - Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar position. - Age: 28 years or older. - Other: Proficiency in audio/video editing software (Adobe Suite, Audition, OBS, Premiere), knowledge of live audio streaming platforms, operation and maintenance of audio consoles and equipment (booths), Office suite proficiency, and familiarity with digital media tools (Gmail, Zoom, Meet, Drive). · WE OFFER! 1.
