Join our team and become part of a kitchen distinguished by its quality, flavor, and commitment to customers! **Location:** Veracruz / Boca del Río **Availability:** Rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays) ### **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year as a cook or advanced line cook in hot or cold stations. * **Education:** High school diploma or technical degree in gastronomy (preferred). * **Knowledge of:** + Hygienic food handling (NOM-251). + Application of the “Punto Limpio” Certification. + **FIFO** system (First In, First Out). + Preparation of standard recipes and portion control. * **Personal skills:** Responsibility, punctuality, teamwork, and results orientation. ### **Job Objective:** Ensure the proper preparation of all ingredients, recipes, and menu items through efficient work in the kitchen, bars, or assigned areas, guaranteeing the quality, flavor, and presentation that characterize the restaurant. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Follow preparation checklists, recipes, and ingredient lists assigned by the **Kitchen Manager** or **Restaurant Manager**. * Perform *mise en place* and maintain order and cleanliness at workstations. * Handle and store ingredients following the **FIFO** system. * Wash and disinfect fruits and vegetables according to the **“Punto Limpio” Certification** guidelines. * Comply with hygiene and food safety standards established by **NOM-251**. * Prepare menu dishes with precision in flavor, texture, and presentation. * Assist with basic kitchen tasks (e.g., sauce reduction, blanching, precise cooking). * Keep the kitchen clean and organized: washing dishes, utensils, equipment, and surfaces. * Support special services, events, or food production as required. * Actively collaborate to ensure smooth branch operations. ### **We Offer:** **Monthly salary:** $8,400.00 **Daily tips** **Weekly payroll** **Statutory benefits from day one** Ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth Excellent work environment
