




**QVITEK SOFTWARE**, a company with a strong presence in software development and technology solution implementation, is looking to add the following role to our team: **SERVER SPECIALIST** **Objective**: Ensure proper updating, administration, maintenance, and optimization of operating systems, guaranteeing the correct operation of the technology infrastructure supporting the organization’s critical operations. **Education**: University degree in Computer Engineering; Bachelor’s degrees in Systems or Computing, Information Technologies. **Professional Experience**: Minimum 4 years in a similar position. **Language: Technical English** **Management Skills:** * ITIL methodology * Documentation * Testing methodologies **Technical Skills:** · Operating system administration: Windows Server, Linux. · Knowledge of implementation and configuration of VMware / Veeam / Exagrid solutions. · Analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of servers. · Implementation and administration of Group Policies, patches, updates, and security configurations on operating systems. · Backup and instant recovery solutions. · Cybersecurity vault management. **Main Responsibilities:** · Administer, configure, and maintain updated operating systems, ensuring their stability and performance. · Administer Virtualization and Storage Services in accordance with departmental policies. · Address operating system vulnerabilities through patch application, security configurations and updates, as well as CIS implementations. · Monitor and generate daily operational checklists for operating system and virtual environment performance; perform adjustments to ensure efficient operation. · Manage virtualized environments (VMware). · Administer and operate backup and recovery environments. · Implement backup and disaster recovery policies. · Support and follow up on internal audits. · Handle Change Controls. · Coordinate with vendors to align requirements for new projects. · Document infrastructure procedures, standards, and configurations. · Document problems identified related to operating system obsolescence. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; weekends as required for special needs. **We Offer:** Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications Statutory benefits Performance Management Salary increases based on performance Excellent work environment. **Interested candidates should apply through this same channel with an updated CV.** Position Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $23,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
