Job Summary: This position focuses on general, preventive, and corrective maintenance of facilities, ensuring safety and addressing guests' needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance 2. Support other departments and manage tools 3. Attentively and courteously address guests' needs **Maintenance and Repair Duties** * **Perform minor repairs:** Carry out masonry, painting, carpentry, and locksmithing repairs, as well as address defects in guest rooms and common areas. * **Preventive maintenance:** Inspect equipment, verify fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other actions to prevent breakdowns. * **Electrical and plumbing maintenance:** Assist, under the supervision of a certified technician, with repairs to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. * **Facility inspections:** Review the operation of systems and equipment, as well as overall hotel conditions, to identify potential failures. **Operational and Logistics Duties** * **Cleaning and organization:** Ensure cleanliness of common areas and hallways, and maintain order in the linen room and other spaces. * **Tool and inventory management:** Maintain an organized and well-kept inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials. * **Support for other departments:** Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff, as well as maintenance technicians, on various tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations. **Regulatory Compliance and Safety** * **Safety:** Comply with the hotel’s established safety and hygiene regulations. * **Incident reporting:** Immediately report any technical or maintenance issues to the direct supervisor. **Guest Service** * **Assistance:** Promptly and courteously address guests’ repair requests during their stay.
