




**GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE** Generate business for the hotel by seeking new clients and securing individual business on behalf of the hotel, in alignment with the financial objectives and strategies outlined in the Marketing Plan. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Manage sales efforts for the hotel, including corporate and social banquet services. 2. Respond to new business opportunities for banquet services. 3. Identify, qualify, and pursue new banquet business opportunities to achieve the hotel’s revenue goals. 4. Analyze the overall market: competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and how to leverage this information to benefit the hotel. 5. Close the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and the hotel’s needs. 6. Apply negotiation skills and creative sales techniques to close deals and negotiate new contracts. 7. Design, develop, sell, and manage creative events. 8. Execute and support operational aspects of closed business (e.g., proposal generation, written contracts, and client follow-up). 9. Ensure successful performance by increasing revenue. 10. Deliver exemplary customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, assisting guests and guaranteeing their satisfaction before and during their program or event. 11. Serve customers by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their expectations, while building a relationship and fostering loyalty to the company. 12. Understand customer expectations and the hotel’s core services; serve customers by comprehending their needs and concerns to provide solutions before and during the event. 13. Develop a close working relationship with operations to ensure execution of strategies that achieve the hotel’s objectives. **REQUIREMENTS** · Experience: Minimum 3 years. Hotel/resort experience preferred. · Education: Bachelor’s degree · General Skills: Must be able to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Organize, prioritize, and follow up. Think clearly, remain calm, and solve problems using sound judgment. Follow instructions precisely, understand guest service needs, collaborate closely with colleagues as part of a team. Work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality of associate, guest, and hotel information. · Language: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing both Spanish and English is required. Physical Requirements: Must be capable of performing various physical movements in work areas, lifting and lowering objects, and sitting for extended periods.
