We are seeking to add a 'Battery Technician' to our team. **Job Description** -------------------------- Ensure the availability and optimal performance of electric forklift batteries by performing battery replacements, inspections, and preventive maintenance, in compliance with company safety guidelines and established procedures. **Requirements** -------------- \- Replace batteries in electric forklifts using authorized attachments and tools, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the fleet. \- Conduct physical inspections of electrical connectors, cables, and battery caps on MHE equipment, identifying and correcting hazardous conditions. \- Monitor battery charging cycles and maintain up-to-date logs and records. \- Perform preventive maintenance on batteries (hydration, specific gravity equalization, and cleaning) to extend their service life. \- Inspect and maintain battery chargers to ensure proper functionality. \- Inspect and maintain battery storage racks and pallets in optimal condition. \- Comply with applicable safety regulations, work instructions, and internal policies. **Responsibilities** --------------------- \- Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial battery or electrical equipment maintenance. \- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance. \- Basic proficiency in handling industrial tools and equipment. \- Availability to work rotating shifts. \- Focus on safety and teamwork.
