Responsibilities include supervising accounting records, preparing financial statements, managing payroll, ensuring compliance with tax obligations, and account reconciliation, all aimed at guaranteeing financial efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities * **General accounting:** Record revenues, process invoices, and reconcile daily accounts. * **Financial management:** Monitor expenses, manage payroll, and ensure safeguarding of company assets. * **Reporting and analysis:** Prepare financial statements, performance reports, and provide reliable information for decision-making. * **Tax compliance:** Calculate taxes, file tax returns, and manage tax and administrative obligations. * **Information management:** Maintain and organize accounting and financial records, including the use of accounting software. Skills and competencies * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field. Certifications and training in financial standards are valued. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in general, tax, and financial accounting. Specific experience in the hotel industry is an advantage. * **Knowledge:** Proficiency in accounting and hotel management software, Microsoft Office, and billing systems. * **Soft skills:** Logical thinking, analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational and leadership skills.
