Requires experience in the automotive industry or as a quality inspector. **JOB SUMMARY:** The Quality Inspector position will be responsible for DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Promote customer requirements and expectations awareness across the organization. * Provide ongoing support and guidance to all departments involved in the system. * Perform quality inspections and controls on products during production and delivery. * Use measurement instruments. * Segregate and identify non-conforming material. * Support data collection and interpretation. * Rework tire counterweights installed outside specification. * Support activities for quality assurance. * Support actions to correct quality discrepancies identified in material and/or product. * Complete forms to meet FTTQ requirements. * Control documents based on operational area. * Contain suspect material flagged by Quality Assurance Technician. * Monitor and comply with all internal company policies related to quality, safety, and productivity. * Carry out continuous improvement activities for machinery, production processes, and containers used for storage and shipment. * Maintain and care for company facilities. * Take actions to improve company safety. * Provide support, as required, to other company departments. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * Education: Completed secondary school. * Gender: No preference. * Experience: 3 years of experience in the automotive industry OR 1 year of experience in tire-wheel assembly OR minimum 2 years of experience as a quality inspector. * Desired knowledge of quality management systems, IATF 16949, ISO 9001. * Desired knowledge of measurement equipment. **TRAVEL:** **Travel Required:** No **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** * Capable of performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment; * Ability to interact effectively with people; * Capable of standing for extended periods; * Able to work any shift; * Able to work weekends when volunteering or required; * Highly motivated with interest in manufacturing; * Demonstrated history of safe work practices; * Team player, flexible, and adaptable to change. **BENEFITS:** **PURPOSE:** Building a Better Whole We build a better culture by putting people before profits, leading with purpose, passion, and performance, and creating an environment dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
