Job Summary: Prepare, operate, and maintain welding equipment to perform joints in various positions, applying safety standards and finishing requirements to parts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate MIG/MAG and shielded metal arc welding equipment. 2. Perform welds in various positions. 3. Inspect and correct defects in weld beads. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare surfaces (cleaning, grinding, alignment, and clamping of parts). * Operate micro-wire welding equipment (MIG/MAG) and shielded metal arc welding equipment. * Select filler materials (wire and electrodes) according to the type of work. * Adjust welding parameters (voltage, amperage, wire feed speed). * Perform welds in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). * Perform basic cutting using oxy-fuel cutting equipment or electric tools. * Visually inspect weld beads and correct defects. * Finish parts (grinding, cleaning). * Comply with safety standards, use of PPE, and internal procedures. * Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
