Coordination of customer flow and service team *For over ten decades, we have established ourselves as Puebla’s most tradition-rich restaurant in Poblano gastronomy, and to continue this legacy, we are seeking a* ***hostess*** *to join our team.* **Requirements:** * Age: 25 to 35 years old. * English: Basic to Intermediate. * Education: Completed high school diploma. * Residence near Puebla Centro or convenient transportation access. * Minimum experience: 2 years in restaurants or hotels. **Main Responsibilities:** * Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. * Confirm reservations and manage the waiting list. * Coordinate table assignments based on availability and customer preferences. * Inform the service team about customer assignments. * Answer basic inquiries regarding the menu, operating hours, and restaurant services. * Handle initial complaints or escalate them to the appropriate supervisor. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the reception area. * Manage tools such as reservation books or digital management systems. * Communicate estimated wait times and coordinate customer flow with the service team and kitchen. **Knowledge Requirements:** * Basic customer service protocols and complaint handling procedures. * Techniques for effective communication. * Familiarity with the restaurant layout and seating capacity. * Basic standards of professional etiquette and conduct. * First aid certification (preferred). **Skills:** * Ability to instill trust and comfort in customers. * Ability to multitask effectively—e.g., assigning tables while managing reservations. * Clear and courteous verbal communication with both customers and team members. * Composure and professionalism during peak demand periods. * Personal presentation aligned with the restaurant’s standards. **We Offer:** * Weekly salary payment. * Daily wage: $315.04 net + tips * Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00 hours. * Statutory benefits after the first year of employment. * Private medical service.
