One customer, one family, one community at a time. **ABOUT THIS ROLE** As a **Software Engineer** in **Core Ria Systems**, your role will be to design, build, and maintain the backend services, integrations, and full‑stack components that power Ria’s global financial ecosystem. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring our high‑volume systems remain scalable, resilient, and aligned with the needs of our customers and business stakeholders. **ROLES \& RESPONSIBILITIES*** Design, develop, and maintain **RESTful and SOAP services** supporting core money transfer and financial processing workflows. * Build and optimize **SQL Server stored procedures, ETL workflows, functions, and database objects** for high‑volume transactional systems. * Develop backend components and system integrations with internal and external partners. * Maintain and enhance **web or Windows applications** used by global operations teams. * Interpret business requirements and create clear functional specifications and test data. * Collaborate with Project stakeholders to build intuitive, responsive interfaces. * Conduct **peer reviews**, contribute to design discussions, and support best development practices across the team. * Troubleshoot production issues and participate in continuous improvement of performance, observability, and reliability. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** **5\+ years of professional software development experience** in enterprise or large\-scale systems. * **2\+ years designing and building REST/SOAP services** and integration components. * Strong experience with **relational databases**, including stored procedures, ETL processes, optimization, and schema design. * Understanding of **cloud\-native application concepts**, such as distributed systems, message\-based architectures, and scalable service design. * Experience working with **modern CI/CD practices** for automated builds, testing, and deployments. * Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams and adapt to evolving technical needs. * Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills. * .NET/C\# experience is a plus. **PERKS \& BENEFITS*** Competitive salary * 1 month of Aguinaldo (Christmas bonus) * 15 days’ vacation * Life insurance * Food vouchers * Work\-life Balance * Growth Opportunities Ria Money Transfer is an equal opportunity employer.
