In both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, the chassis plays a fundamental role in safety, comfort, and dynamics. ZF not only develops essential components such as steering, braking, and damping systems but also integrates all on-board systems involved in longitudinal, lateral, and vertical acceleration. This ensures a smooth and comfortable driving experience—free from vibrations—whether occupants drive themselves or ride in an autonomous vehicle. **What You Can Expect as Plant Manager:** * Ensure personnel safety and product quality by optimizing human, financial, infrastructure, equipment, and material resources to meet internal and external customer requirements on time and to specification. * Ensure and guarantee the availability of labor, equipment, infrastructure, and materials at the plant to deliver required products according to operational performance targets and new product launches. * Lead, manage, guide, train, identify, and develop the plant’s leadership team, ensuring the organization maintains a focus on results/processes and problem-solving through effective information cascading, clearly defined responsibilities, and accountability. * Manage the organization to meet operational performance and budgetary challenges, achieving daily (SFM process), weekly (BCC), monthly, quarterly, and annual (OP/SP) goals. * Achieve targets for: Safety Performance, Quality Performance, Delivery to Internal and External Customers, Production Volumes, Manufacturing Costs, Productivity, Profitability, Flow, and production-related KPIs * as well as the “6 vital few” (LTAR, OPV, ITR, PPP, OEE, FCP), and long- and mid-term business objectives based on ZF OP/SP. * Drive and promote a Continuous Improvement environment; ensure long-term plant support through process mapping, and implement the ZF Way strategy with clear action–outcome alignment, consistent with Corporate Division strategy. Collaborate with your managers and superiors to develop the plant’s OP/SP planning, infrastructure, and resource requirements (based on ZF planning cycles). * **Your Profile as Plant Manager:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or Business Administration preferred. * Minimum 5 years of solid experience managing an operational site. * Minimum 3 years of leadership experience. * Minimum 5 years of solid experience in Operations and related functions. * Organizational development, coaching, and mentoring competencies and skills. * Knowledge of business and financial management. * Results-oriented mindset with specific expertise in safety, quality, delivery, and production.
