**Purpose:**
Coordinate and execute warehouse staff activities related to the receipt, storage, delivery, and/or return of materials, equipment, and other items used in the production process.
**Responsibilities and Authorities:**
Perform warehouse activities in accordance with training and work instructions, and report any issues to other shifts as well as to the supervisor.
Provide clear and simple instructions to warehouse staff and assistants to ensure timely movement of materials to assigned locations both inside and outside the plant.
Prepare necessary reports for personnel under supervision, such as hours worked, personnel notices, etc.
Monitor the operation and functionality of forklifts, pallet jacks, and transport carts to ensure tools are available and operational.
Monitor and manage departmental performance indicators.
Perform corresponding transactions in the ERP system.
Ensure all system transactions are being carried out correctly, and investigate and resolve errors or missing transactions.
Report technical, process-related, or risk-related issues to the supervisor.
Maintain open, two-way communication with the supervisor to support continuous improvement.
Request replacements for vacant positions.
Ensure formal and open communication with coworkers.
Demonstrate flexibility to cover key or absent positions when required.
Perform warehouse operations in compliance with safety guidelines.
Physically dispatch materials and tools to requesting personnel, ensuring authorized requisitions are collected.
Actively contribute to inventory accuracy initiatives and related activities.
Review, track, and resolve all types of discrepancies in the inventory system.
Experience and Requirements
**Knowledge and Skills:**
* Engineering or Bachelor’s degree, with experience in material receipt, inventory control,
* and shipping within companies certified to ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
* Intermediate English (conversational, email writing and reading, attending meetings).
* Forklift operator certification is desirable.
* Employee administration, including planning and recording incidents in the system.
* Sense of urgency and ability to organize, administer, and supervise group tasks.
* Computer proficiency in data processing programs and/or applications such as ERP systems.
* Implement 5S methodology in the warehouse area.
* Ability to communicate effectively and cooperate with the team.
* Safe and proper handling of materials and products.
* Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required.
* Requires minimal or no supervision and is capable of guiding subordinates regarding material knowledge and warehouse layout.
* Knowledge of distribution center management.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., Carta Porte, invoicing, import/export of materials) is desirable.
* Three years of experience in warehouse operations (receipt, inventory control, shipping, invoicing, etc.).
