




Job Summary: Responsible for safely operating forklifts, managing shipments, ensuring product quality, and complying with safety and environmental policies. Key Points: 1. Duties and Responsibilities 1\. Ensure safe operation of forklifts in the shipping/receiving area. 2\. Select products for shipment in FIFO order. 3\. Ensure staged shipments match documentation exactly and meet customer requirements. 4\. Ensure loaded shipments match documentation exactly and meet customer requirements. 5\. Ensure all finished products are handled, moved, and stored in a manner that prevents damage or deterioration. 6\. Ensure any shortages observed during shipment preparation are reported to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. 7\. Ensure all shipment discrepancies are reported to the Shipping Coordinator / Shipping Supervisor so that packing lists and ASNs are accurate. 8\. Perform other related tasks as directed by management. B. Minimum Requirements 1\. 1 year of related experience as a shipper/receiver or material handler. 2\. Successful completion of forklift safety training course. 3\. High school diploma. C. Required Skills 1\. Organizational skills. 2\. Excellent communication skills. 3\. Understanding of key procedures within Quality and Environmental Management Systems relevant to the job function. 4\. Knowledge of forklift safety. 5\. Completion of forms, labels, and tags governing the job function. D. Safety, Quality, and Environmental Responsibilities **Safety:** 1\. Comply with all company safety procedures and policies. 2\. Report any hazards or acts violating company policy or legal requirements. **Quality:** 1\. Comply with all company Quality Management System policies, procedures, and instructions. 2\. Know and follow applicable procedures related to scheduling and production. 3\. Respond promptly to address quality issues that could impact on-time deliveries. 4\. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. 5\. Verify implementation of solutions. 6\. Control subsequent processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. **Environment:** 1\.
