




Job Summary: Ensure that on-site work complies with drawings, technical specifications, and regulations through inspection, control, and documentation of construction processes. Coordinate and follow up on laboratory tests and technical assays. **Job Objective:** Ensure that on-site work complies with construction drawings, technical specifications, applicable regulations, and established quality standards through inspection, control, and documentation of construction processes. **Knowledge Requirements:** * Interpretation of construction drawings * Knowledge of construction processes (structure, installations, finishes) * Regulatory standards (NOM, ACI, ASTM, local building codes) * Quality control of materials (concrete, steel, soils) * Maintenance of logbooks and technical reports * Interpretation of laboratory test results **Skills:** Organized Understanding of general construction systems and installations Teamwork Ability to work under pressure **Responsibilities:** * **Verify proper execution of on-site work**, ensuring compliance with construction drawings, technical specifications, and current regulations. * **Conduct periodic field inspections** during various stages of the construction process, identifying deviations or non-conformities. * **Develop and implement quality control checklists** for each critical activity on site (foundations, structure, installations, finishes, etc.). * **Approve or reject work release** based on compliance with established quality criteria. * **Supervise and validate the quality of materials used**, verifying conformity with specifications, certifications, and required conditions. * **Coordinate and follow up on laboratory tests and technical assays**, ensuring results meet defined standards (e.g., concrete strength, soil compaction, electrical tests, etc.). * **Document all inspections performed**, generating reports, photographic records, logbooks, and evidence of compliance. * **Identify, record, and track non-conformities**, ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * **Coordinate with site managers, supervisors, and contractors** to ensure proper work execution and timely resolution of deviations. * **Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes**, as well as client or company quality standards. * **Participate in internal and external quality audits**, providing required information and documentation. * **Manage and safeguard project technical documentation related to quality**, ensuring traceability and availability. * **Issue periodic progress and quality status reports**, promptly informing management or project leadership.
