Optimizes processes and drives continuous improvement in the food industry. **Location:** Querétaro, MX **Business Unit:** Carnation / Nestlé México **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields focused on product and process development in the food industry. **Experience:** Minimum 3–4 years of experience in thermal processing, drying, manufacturing support, food formulation development, and working with factories and contract manufacturers. **Purpose of the Position** Drive technological innovation in products and processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and competitiveness across Nestlé’s various factories and contract manufacturers. This position is critical to connecting the business with new development opportunities, process optimization, and continuous improvement, aligned with global PTC, TCU, and Nestlé quality standards. **What Will Make You Successful** * Experience in thermal and drying processes within the food industry. * Solid knowledge of new formula development and product optimization. * Ability to identify savings and efficiency opportunities across various categories and processes. * Capacity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: factories, contract manufacturers, technical areas, quality, supply, formulators, PTC (Switzerland, USA), among others. * Excellent communication and project management skills. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency. * Proficiency in tools such as Office, SAP, and statistical analysis. * Willingness to travel (approximately one trip every two months, nationwide). **A DAY IN THE LIFE OF…** * Maintain active communication with PTC and TCU, ensuring technical alignment on processes and standards. * Provide technical support to factories and contract manufacturers on thermal processing and drying. * Conduct process capability assessments and technical analyses for new formulas. * Support the development of new formulations and the improvement of existing products across various categories. * Identify opportunities for process and product optimization, cost savings, and efficiency gains. * Support manufacturing in resolving technical challenges, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. * Work with diverse internal teams (quality, production, supply, formulation, packaging, MKT) and external partners (suppliers, contract manufacturers, international customers).
