Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nesting Engineer to optimize material utilization, coordinate production activities, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities
* Generate and optimize nesting programs to maximize raw material utilization.
* Verify program execution on machines.
* Analyze designs, drawings, and production requirements to determine optimal cut layout.
* Minimize sheet metal and material waste through continuous optimization strategies.
* Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Planning to ensure adherence to priorities and delivery timelines.
* Monitor material utilization metrics and propose process improvements.
* Maintain up-to-date material databases, thicknesses, and cutting configurations.
* Validate that programs are compatible with relevant CNC, laser, plasma, or punching machinery.
* Track incidents related to waste, programming errors, or production deviations.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
* Maintain effective communication with local and international teams as required.
Position Profile
Education: Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Experience in manufacturing processes and material optimization.
Knowledge of nesting programming and specialized software operation.
Experience working with sheet metal and CNC cutting processes is desirable.
Technical Knowledge
* Proficiency in nesting software and CAD/CAM programs.
* Knowledge of technical drawing and blueprint interpretation.
* Proficiency in computer tools and Microsoft Office suite.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and waste control.
* Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
* Intermediate-to-advanced English (bilingualism desirable).
