




Job Summary: Corbion is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for Meat Products to provide technical support for ingredient application in meat products internally and to customers in Mexico and Central America. We are looking for you, Laboratory Analyst for Meat Products **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Provide technical support for ingredient application in meat products both internally and to meat industry customers in Mexico and Central America. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Formulation and development of meat products. * Design of experiments. * Preparation of test, trial, and experiment reports, etc. * Responsible for proper management of resources in the meat laboratory. * Coordination with external suppliers to carry out required services (laboratories, equipment suppliers, ingredient suppliers, etc.). * Maintain contact with global technical departments (meat-related). * Administration of internal administrative processes related to the meat applications laboratory. * Management of the meat applications laboratory. * Preparation and shipment of samples. * Inventory of laboratory materials. * Procurement of laboratory materials and supplies. * Cleaning of equipment and the laboratory in general. **KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE LEVEL:** * Education: Food Engineer / Food Chemist. * Desired: 3–5 years’ experience in meat product manufacturing plants, meat product formulation, and supplier development. * Knowledge in the areas of: Research & Development, Production, Quality, and Legislation. * Proficiency in tools: Demonstrable experience operating meat laboratory equipment (specifically injectors, cutters, mixers, grinders, etc.), basic office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). * Willingness to travel, if applicable: Yes. * English – mandatory intermediate/advanced level. **About Corbion** Corbion is the global market leader in lactic acid and its derivatives, and a leading supplier of emulsifiers, functional enzyme blends, minerals, vitamins, and algal ingredients.
