Position Summary: Support the efficient and profitable operation of a veterinary hospital or clinic, prioritizing pet health and customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Provide clinical and nutritional consultations, and follow up on treatments. 2. Perform surgeries, diagnostics, and prescribe medications. 3. Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with the team. ASSISTANT VETERINARY MANAGER Objective: Support the efficient and profitable operation of a veterinary hospital and/or clinic by delivering high-quality service, with pet health and customer satisfaction as top priorities. Responsibilities: * Provide clinical and nutritional consultations, and follow up on patient treatments. * Deliver preventive medicine services. * Collect samples, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results. * Conduct surgeries and other hospital medical services (as applicable). * Prescribe medications according to diagnosis. * Maintain up-to-date patient medical records. * Support pharmacy product sales when necessary. * Identify service improvement opportunities and propose actions. * Collaborate with the store team to improve overall performance. Requirements: * Education: Licensed Veterinarian (MVZ) with professional license. * Experience in clinical practice and preventive medicine for small animals, primarily dogs and cats. * Inventory management, budgeting, marketing, and shrinkage control. * Pharmacology and commercial products. * Team integration or personnel management. * Nutrition for small animals and commercial pet foods. * Surgeries, sample collection, clinical analysis, and result interpretation.
