Strategic management and problem resolution in automotive plants Metalworking company in the Automotive Industry is seeking: Production Supervisor (experience in the automotive industry \- familiarity with IATF 16949 standard required) Requirements: * Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering degree (completed) * Work schedule from Monday to Saturday, with availability for shift rotations. * SAP knowledge is desirable. * Advanced Excel skills, data analysis, and metrics interpretation. * Must reside near the plant and own a vehicle for reliable commuting. * Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (able to converse fluently in English). * Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, personnel management, production order tracking, production metrics (KPIs) management and analysis, line balancing, best practices, workplace safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and continuous improvement. * Basic knowledge of quality standards ISO and IATF 16949\. * Ability to interpret product drawings. * Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * Inventory planning and control. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments. * Minimum verifiable experience of 5 years as a Production Supervisor in automotive manufacturing plants (Tier 1 or Tier 2\). Responsibilities: * Lead the production team, effectively adapting to achieve company goals and standards. * Responsible for training, developing, and coaching personnel to achieve optimal results. * Ensure compliance with plant policies and procedures. * Participate in strategic planning (long-term vision: 1 year). * Participate in implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance all work processes, achieving increasingly competent production processes. * Act as the responsible and designated authority in the absence of Senior Management, including emergencies, serving as Safety and Hygiene Coordinator. * Perform tasks related to quality assurance. * Conduct audits, make decisions regarding product quality, and manage corrective, preventive, and containment actions. * Analyze weekly productivity and efficiency reports. * Monitor operator efficiency and productivity daily, advising on performance improvement aligned with individual needs. * Responsible for raising employee awareness of product quality importance and providing support for area-related issues. * Manage production personnel, working hours, and verify/approve payroll incidents according to cost center. * Conduct daily safety walkthroughs, inspecting the production area and following up on any safety and hygiene-related issues. * Participate in corrective actions related to Quality, Safety and Hygiene, and Engineering departments. * Supervise robust manufacturing process activities on the production floor and complete required work checklists. * Prioritize and follow up on maintenance work orders. * Support production team members in resolving problems, conflicts, and applying disciplinary actions per the internal work regulations. * Communicate senior management objectives to production teams. \*Ensure teams maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ensure Safety and Hygiene issues receive proper attention from Management/Safety and Hygiene Coordinator, and that corrective actions are adequately followed up. * Comply with Environmental, Safety, and Hygiene regulations and requirements.
