One customer, one family, one community at a time. **Position Summary** We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Software Development team. In this role, you'll lead and support ongoing manual testing efforts while mentoring other QAs and expanding contributions to automation — especially around Web APIs — in collaboration with the development team and QA peers. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, QAs, dev leads, DevOps, and analysts in a collaborative environment to ensure high\-quality software delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in testing backend systems and automation who is eager to drive quality improvements. **About This Role** This role will be responsible for:* Leading collaboration with IT, Business, and Development teams to analyze, design, and execute test strategies. * Executing and overseeing manual test cases for backend systems and Web APIs. * Identifying, analyzing, and documenting issues and areas for improvement. * Driving automation efforts using tools such as Postman (API testing tool) and Azure DevOps, primarily for Web API validation. * Documenting newly tested functionality and ensuring regression coverage is maintained. * Supporting release coordination and providing QA leadership during deployments. * Leading and contributing to ongoing process improvements for test coverage and efficiency. **Required Skills and Experience*** 5\+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or similar role. * Strong experience in manual testing, especially with backend applications and APIs (SOAP/REST). * Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. * Solid experience with automation testing practices and writing/maintaining automated scripts (preferably in C\#). * Strong knowledge of SQL for executing queries. * Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). * Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. * English proficiency (written and spoken). * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. **Desired Profile*** Comfortable leading QA efforts and mentoring less experienced team members. * Experience in financial systems or back\-office operations is a plus. * Experience reading logs and analyzing backend system behavior. * Exposure to CI/CD environments and test management tools (especially Microsoft tools like Azure DevOps). * ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
