Parque Tecnológico Innovación **MUST RESIDE NEAR THE SITE, HAVE PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION, OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE NEAR THE SITE (NO TRANSPORTATION ISSUES).** **REQUIREMENTS** **Objective:** Performs the necessary technical activities in the production area to keep equipment operating within required operational and quality standards to meet customer requirements on time and as specified. **Environmental Objective:** Maintain the environmental impact of each aspect related to the performance of their activities at a minimum level, complying with the procedures defined by QDM for this purpose. **Requirements:** *GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:* * Technical High School Diploma / TSU / Mechanical, Industrial or Related Engineering Degree * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a plastic injection process technician in the automotive industry. * Experience managing personnel (3 or more people) * Age: 25 years or older. * Flexible working hours. * Availability for rotating shifts. * Availability to work overtime on weekends. * Preferably reside near the QDM plant. * TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: * Knowledge of injection molding (operation or at least familiarity with scientific molding concepts) * Demonstrable experience working with engineering resins (POM, PBT+GF, PA66) and their proper handling (drying, conveying, coloring) * Demonstrable knowledge of process sheets and documentation for machine setup and injection process release. * Knowledge and experience in compliance with IATF 16949 standard. * Knowledge of 2K injection, coloring (gravimetric, volumetric), injection machines with rotary platens, Mucell (at least familiarity with this technology). * Experience operating KRAUSS MAFFEI and ARBURG machines (up to 500 tons). * Experience assembling molds. * Desirable: Operation of Witmann linear robots (preferably Krauss Maffei). *ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE* * Knowledge of hazardous waste management generated in the plastic injection industry. * Basic training on water and/or natural resource conservation. **Responsibilities / Assignments:** * Maintain injection molding machines and testing equipment operating according to company-defined standard processes. * Responsible for performing mold changes and/or coordinating mold changes with Technician B as indicated in the production schedule, including startup and release per the company-defined system. * Responsible for coordinating with the materials specialist regarding material changes required for mold changes and ensuring material supply to maintain machine operation. * Track production plans and schedules to request required mold version changes and their release. * Provide production support in troubleshooting injection machines, robots, and automation systems. * Report machinery and automation failures to maintenance and automation departments. * Report mold failures and/or malfunctions to the mold department according to the company’s internal system. * Coordinate with Technician B to monitor and maintain the poka-yoke system for mold cooling. * Generate tracking and control records for peripheral equipment required in production (dryers, loaders, etc.). * Generate required quality records for production release. * Maintain auxiliary furniture and equipment used in operations (resin bins, temperature controllers, dryers, ladders, etc.) in operational condition. * Monitor and maintain mold change accessories (clamps, fasteners, washers, connectors, etc.). * Monitor and maintain end-of-arm tooling used for part extraction from injection molding machines. **Environmental Responsibilities:** - Perform job-related tasks while being aware of all associated environmental aspects. - Comply with QDM-defined waste and/or substance management plans and procedures related to the position. - Instruct, supervise, and train, if necessary, personnel under supervision to comply with QDM-defined environmental protection plans. **Authorities:** - Correct environmental risk situations within one’s capability without endangering personal safety, and report such actions through defined communication channels and to immediate supervisor. - Report environmental risk situations requiring intervention from other departments or exceeding one’s capability to immediate supervisor and/or through defined communication channels. - Supervise personnel under supervision and, if necessary, instruct them to comply with QDM-defined environmental protection plans. **We Offer:** - Benefits exceeding statutory requirements - 8% savings fund contribution - 8% grocery vouchers Employment Type: Full-time, indefinite term Salary: $22,000.00 – $28,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Workplace: On-site employment
