Position Summary: We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to design, implement, and optimize business processes and value chain, applying HES tools to minimize waste and reduce costs in the automotive industry. Apply operational controls of management systems ### **Activities** **Continuous Improvement Manager** **Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.** **Indefinite-term contract.** At Hutchinson Hose Plant, we design and manufacture customized materials and connected solutions to meet the needs of our global automotive industry customers. We are seeking a **Continuous Improvement Manager** to design, implement, and optimize Business and Value Chain Processes by applying HES procedures and tools across various Hutchinson areas to minimize waste, optimize processes and flows, and thereby reduce costs, operating expenses, and logistics expenses. **Key Responsibilities:** * Strategically manage process and method analysis, optimization, improvement, and standardization according to the HES System (continuous improvement tools: Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Supermarkets, Variability, SMED, TPM, PPS, and other tools contributing to KPI improvement), as well as conduct workshops and train personnel. * Implement and coordinate waste and scrap reduction improvement activities, productivity and efficiency enhancement, both in production and support processes. * Manage plant layout optimization by optimizing space and defining material flow in physical production lines and in systems, optimize warehouse utilization, design racks for material handling and supermarkets. * Design strategies to improve information and material flows, implement more efficient management, production, and distribution systems, reducing costs and waste. * Apply operational controls involved in the company’s management systems, such as ISO 14000, ISO 45000, ISO 50001, and IATF 16949\. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. **Technical Skills:** Management of continuous improvement projects. Layout optimization (AutoCAD, Promodel, PowerBI). APQP, Core Tools. Lean tools (JIT, Kanban, FIFO, KAIZEN, Picking, VSM, Capacity).
