Opportunity for professional development in diesel machinery maintenance Mechanic Assistant Willingness to relocate Heavy Machinery **Job Objective** Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for diesel-powered heavy machinery by collaborating with mechanics on equipment inspection, repair, and preservation, thereby contributing to machinery availability and optimal performance at construction sites. **Requirements** Education: Junior high school, high school, or incomplete/complete technical degree in a related field (Diesel Mechanics, Electromechanics, Automotive, or Industrial). Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience assisting in maintenance of heavy machinery, diesel equipment, or commercial vehicles. Availability to work onsite and during extended hours when required by operations. ***Willingness to relocate.*** **Main Responsibilities** * Assist mechanics in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair activities for heavy machinery. * Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and component cleaning. * Assist in disassembly and assembly of mechanical components under supervision. * Transport, organize, and prepare tools and spare parts required for maintenance tasks. * Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace. * Report any anomalies or failures detected during inspections to the responsible mechanic or immediate supervisor. * Assist in preparing and documenting maintenance activities when required. * Comply with safety regulations and use assigned equipment and tools appropriately. **Benefits** * **Competitive compensation**, commensurate with experience and expertise. * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements**. * **100% IMSS coverage**. * **30 days’ year-end bonus**. * **Overtime pay**.
