Collaboration in project development **Position: Mechanical Designer (SOLIDWORKS)** **Location:** El Salitre, Qro. **Employment Type:** Full-time **Department:** Engineering / Mechanical Design **Job Objective** Design, model, and develop mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and compliance with project technical requirements. **Responsibilities** * Design mechanical parts and assemblies using **SOLIDWORKS**. * Generate manufacturing drawings with tolerances, materials, and technical specifications. * Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting. * Collaborate with production departments to ensure design feasibility. * Propose design improvements to optimize costs and processes. * Track projects from conceptualization through to manufacturing. * Prepare bills of materials (BOM). **Requirements** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. * Proficiency in **SOLIDWORKS** (modeling, assemblies, and drawings). * Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, cutting, welding, etc.). * Ability to interpret drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\&T). * Basic Excel skills. * Familiarity with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) is desirable. **Skills** * Analytical thinking * Attention to detail * Teamwork * Proactivity * Results-oriented mindset **We Offer** * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Statutory benefits * Growth opportunities * Positive work environment Salary: $3,000\.00 \- $4,000\.00 per week Work Location: On-site employment
