Job Summary: Abbott is seeking a technician or engineer to ensure continuity of manufacturing processes through preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery in the Electrophysiology (EP) division. In this division, we are advancing the treatment of cardiac diseases through innovative medical technologies for atrial fibrillation, enabling people to restore their health and move forward with their lives. **Job Objective** Ensure continuity of all manufacturing processes through execution of preventive maintenance on machinery used across various plant production processes. **Responsibilities** * Successfully perform assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. * Provide required support to various departments. * Print and complete preventive and corrective maintenance work orders. * Maintain assigned areas clean and organized. * Conduct technical diagnostics and provide improvement recommendations to direct supervisor. **Required Qualifications:** * Education: Technical diploma, TSU, or degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field. * Experience: 2–3 years performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production line equipment. * Knowledge of measurement equipment: calipers, ammeters, and multimeters. * Experience performing preventive maintenance on equipment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Knowledge of temperature control systems: replacement of thermocouples and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). * Experience maintaining pneumatic actuators: replacement of seals and gaskets. * Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings. * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. **Desirable:** Basic knowledge of PLC programming, preferably Allen Bradley Intermediate English **Apply Now** Advance your professional aspirations with Abbott to access diverse opportunities at a company that helps you build your future and live your best life.
