Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Safety Supervisor for construction sites, responsible for identifying hazards, ensuring safety compliance, and training personnel in occupational hygiene. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement occupational safety and hygiene programs. 2. Investigate incidents and provide safety training. 3. Supervise the use of PPE and regulatory compliance on site. Takasago Engineering is seeking a Safety Supervisor for construction sites, who will conduct site inspections to identify hazards, monitor PPE usage, verify equipment used by workers and contractors prior to any high-risk work, validate high-risk work areas, among other duties. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in construction projects. * Knowledge of STPS regulations (NOM-031\-2011, NOM\-009\-2011, NOM\-027\-2008, * NOM\-004\-1999, NOM\-029\-2011, NOM\-017\-2008\). * Valid DC3 certification. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop, implement, and manage occupational safety and hygiene programs. * Conduct occupational risk assessments and identify potential hazards and risks. * Implement control measures to eliminate or minimize occupational risks. * Investigate accidents and incidents and develop preventive action plans. * Provide safety and hygiene training and instruction to employees. * Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene standards and regulations. * Maintain records and documentation related to safety and hygiene. * Represent the company before labor authorities when required. * Supervise the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper assignment. * Manage suppliers and contractors, ensuring their compliance with safety standards. * Deliver training sessions and safety talks to workers during morning meetings. * Prepare and issue permits. * Supervise high-risk activities. * Manage and administer personnel documentation on site. **SKILLS:** * Organization * Analytical thinking * Communication skills * Decision-making * Teamwork * Proactivity * Willingness to travel Employment type: Project-based or fixed-term contract Salary: Starting at $22,000\.00 per month Education: * Completed bachelor's degree (Preferred) Experience: * Site safety experience: 1 year (Mandatory) Language: * English (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 100% (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
