Job Summary: We are seeking a .NET Software Engineer to maintain and develop features for industrial software projects, integrating hardware and desktop applications. Key Highlights: 1. Axkan, in strategic alliance with **Inovacor**, is looking for a **Software Engineer** with experience in .NET environments to work on existing industrial software projects and develop new features. **Job Function** The candidate will collaborate with technical and project teams to understand client requirements, maintain and enhance desktop applications, and ensure proper integration between software and hardware. This role requires the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team primarily focused on hardware and physical systems. **Main Responsibilities** · Maintain and support existing applications: fix bugs, optimize performance, and adapt functionality according to project requirements. · Develop new features applying best practices and design patterns to ensure clean, maintainable code. · Integrate software with industrial equipment (PLCs and other devices) using standard communication protocols for data exchange. · Work with relational databases and generate automated reports based on client needs. · Design and maintain efficient user interfaces for desktop applications. · Implement solutions that safely and efficiently handle concurrency and asynchronous operations. · Prepare basic technical documentation and participate in system integration testing. · Demonstrate proactivity and the ability to independently research and resolve technical issues. **Essential Requirements** · **At least 2 years of experience developing in C\# and .NET (NET Framework 4\+ or later).** · **At least 1 year of experience working with WPF or another UI development framework**, applying architectures that separate the user interface from business logic. · Knowledge of **concurrency and asynchrony**, including basic thread handling and best practices to avoid *race conditions*. · Experience working with **relational databases** (MySQL, SQL Server, or others) and SQL queries. · Experience using **Git for version control**. · Ability to work **autonomously**, with a focus on problem-solving in industrial environments. **Desirable Requirements** · Basic knowledge of **industrial communication protocols** (e.g., Modbus TCP/RTU) or experience integrating applications with PLC devices. · Experience working with **industrial camera SDKs** or other data acquisition devices. · Experience using **.NET libraries for charting or reporting**. · Knowledge of **unit/integration testing** and continuous integration practices.
