




Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring ground conditions, as well as the stability and safety of the project, through review and supervision of geotechnical studies and structural designs. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the stability, safety, and performance of the project. 2. Supervise and conduct geological, geophysical, and geotechnical investigations. 3. Provide technical consultation and supervision for cut slope stabilization and anchoring. Ensure that actual site ground conditions and related geotechnical investigations, structural designs, and applicable regulations guarantee the stability, safety, and performance of the project. Responsibilities * Prior to construction commencement, review project documentation including cut stabilization drawings, calculation reports, construction methodologies, slope stability analyses, SCHMIDT hammer tests, soil mechanics tests, kinematic stability analyses, load-bearing capacity analyses, and geotechnical reports. • Ensure compliance of the construction process with applicable standards. • Ensure the design is implemented efficiently. • Review and develop schedules. • Quantify materials. • Supervise and conduct geological, geophysical, and geotechnical investigations. • Prepare field reports and on-site constructive recommendations for various structures. Knowledge * Soil and rock mechanics studies. • Exploration boreholes. • In-situ tests for soils and rocks. • Soil mechanics laboratory. • Geotechnical instrumentation. • On-site technical consultation for cut slope stabilization. • Technical supervision of passive and active anchoring systems. • Technical supervision of drain installation works. • Rock excavation methods. • Operation of specialized software in this field. • Process information in plans, sections, and profiles. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, with specialization or master’s degree in Geotechnics (degree certificate and professional license) Experience 5–7 years of experience in this field. Preparation of geotechnical reports containing slope stability calculations, structural geology, stereographic projections, among others.
