Analysing sales data to monitor performance and identify trends **About this role:** The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for delivering insights into sales performance through data analysis, enabling informed decision\-making within the wider team. This role focuses on tracking key sales metrics, generating forecasts and producing comprehensive reports to support the development and execution of team\-wide sales strategies. **Accountabilities:** * Serve as the primary point of contact for the Distribution team regarding Sales Operations processes, providing expert guidance and, when necessary, absorbing process components to optimize team efficiency. * Lead the mapping and documentation of Sales Operations processes, developing comprehensive manuals and procedural guides to ensure consistency and clarity across the team. * Ensure the highest quality and integrity of information throughout the entire sales cycle—from customer onboarding and data management to contract administration—enabling reliable reporting and analysis. * Analyse sales data to monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, uncover root causes of underperformance, and deliver actionable recommendations to management. * Prepare, optimize, and innovate regular and ad\-hoc reports, including dashboards and visual presentations, to effectively communicate sales performance to key stakeholders. * Support forecasting activities by analysing historical sales data, customer behaviour, and market trends to project future sales performance. * Provide detailed data analysis to inform pricing strategies, product launches, and promotional initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. **Skills \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. * Developing knowledge of methodologies, processes, practices, and common issues of the Sales Operations function. * Able to convey straightforward technical and non\-technical information to audiences that generally understand the subject matter.
