Optimize injection processes by developing standardization strategies for equipment and processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements. **Job Requirements** Responsible for conducting process audits to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of operations. Responsible for defining and optimizing process parameters on injection machines to ensure compliance with customer requirements and targets such as: cycle time, scrap, OEE, model changeover, and regrind consumption. Responsible for recertification and optimization of existing molds. Responsible for maintaining updated and validated process sheets (parameter sheets) as well as standard work instructions. Responsible, together with the NPI team, for validating new molds and materials (resins, pigments, etc.) ensuring process safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsible for participating in the design review of new molds and in the development and execution of industrialization strategy. Responsible for participating in fast mold changeover strategy. Responsible for improving medium-to-high complexity process fixtures or tools. Responsible for optimizing processes to achieve cycle time reduction. Responsible for supervising that peripheral equipment, machinery, and molds are maintained in optimal condition. Responsible for the development and fabrication of end-of-arm tooling for auto pins. Responsible for creating and maintaining Process Flow Diagrams. Responsible for creating and updating Operator Instruction Sheets. Responsible for participating in PFMEA development with a multidisciplinary team. Responsible for creating and updating Set-up Sheets. Responsible for participating in training injection process technicians. Responsible for training group leaders and operators on the operation of assembly equipment (launches, engineering changes). Responsible for participating in Control Plan development. Responsible for participating in failure analysis and solving injection-related problems/defects. Responsible for implementing and monitoring Engineering Changes within the process. Responsible for preparing capability studies for tooling and equipment. Responsible for participating in and implementing continuous improvement tools (5S, SMED, Kanban, Standardized Work, Poka-yoke, One Piece Flow, etc.) supporting the unit's TEOA certification plan. Responsible for documenting lessons learned and applying applicable corrective actions. Authority and responsibility to stop any activity that risks the environmental management system. Authority to stop any process that may harm the environment and/or is not in compliance with environmental legal requirements. Provides support in generating problem-solving solutions. Trains other team members when necessary. Responsible for high-complexity processes. Solves problems with minimal supervision using problem analysis methodologies (DMAIC, A3, 8D). Performs actions to reduce environmental impact, as well as activities to comply with ISO14001 standards. Leads manufacturing technicians and mold changeover technicians. **What your background should look like** Education Level  Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering Professional Experience  +6 years of experience as an engineer, preferably in manufacturing Specific Knowledge and Skills Advanced English proficiency Scientific molding Mold Master certification Drawing software and computer packages: AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks. Proficiency with Office suite. Ability to effectively document technical information. Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, 8D, A3, PDCA). Lean Six Sigma tools. Ability to exercise effective leadership. Ability to interpret blueprints and use measuring instruments. Core Tools Applicable knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
