VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS COORDINATOR
UVM is seeking your talent for the position of VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS COORDINATOR.
Position Objective:
Ensure that the student community enrolled in online courses receives reliable, high-quality service aligned with institutional policies, procedures, and regulations—coordinating with various campus departments through academic, administrative, and logistical activities inherent to the implementation and operation of online courses. Additionally, promote the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) as a support tool for face-to-face courses across all academic levels. Serve as the liaison point between the Campus and the Online Rectorate to ensure proper execution of strategies for online courses and programs, thereby enhancing digital competencies within our students’ graduation profiles.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Foster a comfortable environment for the campus community (students, faculty, users) through a service-oriented attitude, teamwork spirit, proactive approach, and sense of urgency in problem resolution.
Guarantee and audit the 100% enrollment transfer of all students registered in online courses.
Schedule training sessions for students on platform usage and the online course model; provide continuous student support.
Train and promote the use of management tools across various campus departments.
Train the Campus department responsible for online banner configuration to ensure correct setup of online courses in student-service-critical processes such as registration and grade submission.
Participate in the weekly retention committee to report risk-related issues identified during student follow-up.
Audit and monitor Academic Support Coordinators (CAE) for online program students with Full Payment status but without generated course sequences.
Requirements:
Completed Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in academic and administrative operations within higher education, including student service and support.
Teaching experience.
Desirable: background in academic departments or institutional computing/information centers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and teaching/learning platforms.
Flexible availability of working hours.
Willingness to relocate.
