Our Guest Experience Specialists take the initiative to provide a wide range of services that guide our guests throughout their stay. Their responsibilities go beyond typical front desk duties, extending to managing guest service across key areas of the hotel with an unwavering focus on prioritizing the guest. They are empowered to be proactive and do whatever it takes in every situation. Whether performing operational tasks, handling guest requests, serving high-quality food, completing reports, or sharing information about notable local events and attractions, Guest Experience Specialists ensure these interactions become part of the overall guest experience. Regardless of specific roles, there are several fundamental requirements for success (creating a safe work environment, following company guidelines and procedures, respecting confidentiality, protecting company assets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication). Guest Experience Specialists are constantly on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods) and engage in various physical tasks (moving items, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 25 pounds unassisted; reaching overhead, bending down, and performing movements requiring knee bending, twisting, stretching, and stooping). It is essential that Guest Experience Specialists consistently perform these tasks (and other reasonable tasks assigned) well to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program. Relevant work experience: No prior relevant work experience required. Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience required.
