Monitor designated swimming areas to identify hazardous situations, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers experiencing difficulties. Promote the rules and regulations of recreational facilities. Identify situations where guests cannot safely participate in an activity and report to a supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Promote a cheerful and comfortable environment for guests. Fold, stack, and store towels according to company procedures. Wash, scrub, and clean the pool perimeter area. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management; receive safety training and obtain required certifications. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company property. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team efforts to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (22.50 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Assist in moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 75 pounds (33.75 kg). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Move at speeds required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery (e.g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, dragging, and stooping. Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Climb up and down ladders. Ascend and descend service stairs and/or ramps. Greet and acknowledge all guests per company standards. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
