




**New Launches Planner** The New Launch Logistics Planner is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the availability of materials, packaging, and logistics resources required for new product launches within the automotive plant, also is responsible to attend Customer Requirements during the phase Launch. This role focuses on planning, controlling, and monitoring all logistics activities related to the ramp\-up phase, ensuring on\-time readiness of the supply chain to support SOP (Start of Production) and customer demand. The position\-holder develops material flow strategies, aligns capacity planning with suppliers and internal departments, and ensures compliance with corporate logistics standards. They coordinate with cross\-functional teams (production, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers) to secure service parts, packaging solutions, and transportation routes, while mitigating risks such as late BPOs/PPAPs or incorrect customer demand signals. **What you’ll do:****1\. Program Planning \& Ramp\-Up Readiness**Develop and maintain a **logistics ramp\-up plan** at least 6 weeks before SOP (Start of Production). Ensure production lines are trained and prepared for new product introduction. Define and monitor inventory levels based on **MIN/MAX/SS** aligned with DLI (Demand Logistics Indicators). **2\. Supplier \& Material Readiness**Coordinate with suppliers to secure material availability in line with new program timelines. Validate BPO (Blanket Purchase Orders) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) completion to avoid late approvals. Escalate supplier capacity issues that may delay service or production parts. **3\. Service Parts Planning**Integrate service parts demand into the launch plan to avoid shortages post\-SOP. Align with customer portals (AMIS, Mopar, Ford, etc.) to ensure accurate visibility of service demand. Monitor, track, and escalate **past due service parts** to secure timely shipments. **4\. Standardization \& Centralization**Implement and enforce **standardized processes** across all plants. Support local planners with training and tools to ensure adherence to central planning standards. Serve as the single point of contact for escalation on new program logistics issues. **5\. Cross\-Functional Coordination**Collaborate with PMs, Engineering, Production, and Logistics to ensure end\-to\-end readiness. Provide visibility to management through **dashboards, KPIs, and reports** showing status of launches. Lead weekly alignment meetings with plants to review demand vs. build vs. shipped status. **6\. Risk Management \& Cost Control**Identify risks such as late PPAPs, incorrect DUNS usage, or system errors in portals. Implement mitigation plans to avoid **expedited freight costs**. Track and report on cost impacts related to launch logistics delays. What is required:Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Administration, or related field. 3–5 years in logistics planning within automotive or complex manufacturing. Previous experience in new launches or ramp\-up. Exposure to multicultural environments and OEM customers (Ford, GM, Stellantis, etc.). Experience coordinating with multiple plants/suppliers.
