Application of Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement **Description** **Production Leader** **Profile:*** Education: Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related field * Experience in industry and in a similar position **Main Job Responsibilities:*** Support Operators to reduce production downtime duration (escalate the root cause of production stoppages) * Ensure compliance with work standards * Analyze dimensional reports to identify root causes of non-conformities * Responsible for assembly/manufacturing production (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Personnel targets) * Apply lean concepts (5S, TPM, Standardized Work, Level Production) * Lead an operational workforce team on assigned production lines, ensuring adherence to established standardized work procedures * Monitor the plant-wide production schedule and support the development of multi-skilled operators * Prepare and submit shift attendance reports for subordinates to supervisor; manage planned vacations and absences * Participate in PDCA and 8D quality problem-solving activities; conduct daily scrap audits; review and sign production reports; perform Safe Audits, LPA Audits, and participate in QPA and IATF 16949 Audits **Preferred Experience in:*** Automotive industry; manufacturing processes **Competencies:*** Personnel and conflict management * Leadership * Accountability * Organized * Proactive * Teamwork * Effective communication **Skills and Knowledge:*** Knowledge of manufacturing processes; production planning and control; safety standards; financial administration; environmental management; personnel management; Lean Manufacturing; production lines **Offerings:*** Competitive salary * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Direct employment by the company.
