**INTRODUCTION:** We are opening a new selection process at our Querétaro plant for the position of Cutting and Sharpening Operator **WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** * **Bachelor's or Technical degree in Machine Tools.** * 1 year of experience in a similar role, **performing cutting and/or sharpening of drills or tooling for CNC.** * Basic knowledge of lathe and/or milling machines, blueprint interpretation, measuring instruments. * 1 year of experience as a CNC operator. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **WHAT DOES THE POSITION INVOLVE?** * Registration and control of tool issuance to production. * Receipt and inspection of new tools and those returned from sharpening. * Tool storage. * Measurement and assembly of tools using a presetting machine. * Selection and sending of used tools for sharpening. * Measurement of tools for EDM (electrodes). * Maintenance and repair of cutting tools. * Monitoring periodic verification of tool clamping components. * Support production through replacement and/or repair of fixture and tool components. **WE OFFER** Weekly Base Salary of $3,736 Gross (reviewable according to experience) plus benefits exceeding legal requirements.
