




**Job Description** **TOOL AND DIE TECHNICIAN** **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Ensure the manufacturing and maintenance of production tools in excellent condition to achieve optimal performance in operations, minimizing downtime in production lines. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Preventive and corrective maintenance of molds and dies * Manufacturing of steel and alloy parts using conventional machinery * Analysis of mold and die failures * Design and fabrication of assembly devices (Fixtures) * Development of improvements in tooling * Provide technical support on production lines (Molding, Stamping, Machining, or Assembly) involving tooling, ensuring operator safety, product quality, reduced downtime, and cost savings * Maintain equipment and tooling in good working condition **KNOWLEDGE** * Conventional machining (Lathe, Milling machine, Grinder) * Measuring instruments (Caliper, micrometer, height gauge, telescope gauge, Gage) * Interpretation of 2D drawings and 3D SolidWorks models * Basic TIG welding * Repair and/or adjustment of dies and molds * Wire EDM and Sinker EDM * CNC programming **REQUIREMENTS** * Associate degree in Machine Tools or related field * Availability to work rotating shifts **COMPETENCIES** * Responsible * Proactive * Results-oriented * Teamwork * Problem-solving Employment type: Indefinite term, Full-time Schedule: * Rotating Benefits: * Salary increases * Maternity leave exceeding legal requirements * Paternity leave exceeding legal requirements * Company parking * Option for indefinite contract * Employee referral program * Life insurance * Cafeteria service * Discounted cafeteria service * Free uniforms * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Grocery vouchers Relocation flexibility: * Querétaro, Qro.: Able to commute to work without issues or plan to relocate prior to starting employment (Desirable) Work Location: On-site Employment type: Full-time Salary: $17,000.00 - $17,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site
