Job Summary: The Traffic Analyst manages logistical, customs, and transportation requirements for imports/exports, ensuring legal compliance and internal company logistics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of foreign trade operations and customs compliance. 2. Implementation of cost-reduction projects in transportation and logistics. 3. Advanced handling of the IMMEX program, customs legislation, and international treaties. The **Traffic Analyst** must fulfill all logistical, customs, and transportation requirements for imports and exports, strictly adhering to applicable legislation and internal company logistics, as well as maintaining customs compliance to avoid legal and tax complications. Combine technical expertise in import/export management, international logistics, negotiation skills, knowledge of customs, tariff, and non-tariff regulations, and international treaties, along with the ability to understand and adapt to the constant changes governing international trade. * **Basic Requirements** \- University degree in foreign trade, international commerce, logistics, or related disciplines. \- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector, including IMMEX program management and corporate compliance. \- Intermediate-to-Advanced English \- Knowledge of the Customs Law and Foreign Trade Regulations \- Familiarity with foreign trade documentation \- Proficiency in foreign trade systems * **Skills** \- Proactive and results-oriented. \- Strong communication and negotiation skills. \- High sense of urgency. \- Conflict resolution skills. \- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \- Continuous learning capability \- Ability to work under pressure * **Main Responsibilities** \- Management of foreign trade operations (imports, exports, virtual operations) (liaising with carriers, maritime and air freight lines, customs brokers), coordinating processes to ensure timely delivery of goods in compliance with legal requirements. \- Implementation of cost reduction and avoidance projects related to transportation and logistics. \- Review of commercial invoices and XML files for foreign trade (CE) for imports and exports \- Review of customs entry forms (pedimentos) \- Control of operational case files \- Record Keeping \- Fixed Asset Control \- Handling of Incoterms \- Maintaining records of expenses and controlling operating funds \- Tracking all import/export transactions and providing daily updates on shipment status and changes. \- Issuing daily transit shipment reports. \- Providing freight quotations and rates for specific shipments and projects. \- Validating the transit inventory report at month-end. \- Reviewing carrier invoices.
