The position requires foundational to intermediate technical skills to diagnose incidents, perform maintenance activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. **Essential Job Functions:** ------------------------------------ * Provide support for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 operating systems. * Perform administration and maintenance tasks in Active Directory. * Track and support incidents reported on websites, web services, and IIS platforms. * Execute operational activities for services deployed on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar). * Use monitoring tools to identify alerts, failures, and service degradations. * Support MySQL and SQL Server databases (queries, reviews, health checks). * Perform basic network diagnostics using fundamental TCP/IP concepts. * Collaborate with infrastructure teams on operating high-availability environments (blades, ProLiant servers, etc.). * Document activities, incidents, and technical procedures following best practices. * Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and service standards. **Basic Requirements:** ----------------------- * Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Communications and Electronics, Electronic Systems, Computer Systems, or related field (in progress or completed). * Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. * **Availability to work rotating shifts across three shifts.** * Knowledge of: + Windows Server (2008–2019). + Active Directory. + Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). + DNS services. + Networking and TCP/IP protocols. + Databases (MySQL and SQL Server). + Monitoring tools. * Intermediate knowledge of IIS and web hosting services. * Experience working with high-availability systems (blades, ProLiant, or others). **Other Valued Qualities:** ------------------------------- * Ability to quickly learn new technologies. * Effective communication and collaborative teamwork. * Problem-solving orientation and analytical thinking. * Organization, time management, and disciplined tracking of tickets and tasks. * Interest in growing within infrastructure and cloud services. **Why DXC? / Life at DXC:** -------------------------------- DXC is a preferred employer with strong values, promoting a culture of inclusion, belonging, and corporate responsibility.
