Primary Location: Calle Circuito Corral de Piedras, Manzana 1, Lote 16, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, 37888, MEX Employment Type: Salaried \| Full\-Time Function: Material Control / Logistics Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled **Main Duties \& Responsibilities** The Buyer\-Planner reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible to plan and execute the procurement of materials, components, and products required for operations, ensuring compliance with the production or sales plan, optimizing inventory levels, and efficiently managing supplier relationships. **Qualifications** * Plan and execute the procurement of materials, components, and finished goods required to support production and sales plans. * Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials. * Develop, maintain, and monitor purchase orders in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements. * Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, cost efficiency, and working capital objectives. * Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards are met. * Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and supply continuity. * Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to align supply plans with business requirements. * Monitor supplier delivery performance and proactively resolve supply issues or shortages. * Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and applicable regulations. * Prepare and analyze procurement and inventory reports to support management decision\-making. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain efficiency and cost reduction. * Analyze sales forecasts, budgets, and production requirements to determine purchasing needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in similar roles, specifically in planning and purchasing. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.). Knowledge and experience in inventory management and logistics. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, depending on whether negotiations with international suppliers are required.
