A leading quality provider of healthy homemade takeout food in the southern part of the city is seeking: Kitchen Assistant: Main responsibilities: * Assist the Chef and/or Cook(s) in food preparation. * Properly arrange and organize tools, utensils, materials, and raw ingredients for the food preparation process. * Clean and organize as directed by immediate supervisor. * Perform basic food preparations, including salads, sauces, desserts, beverages, or any other tasks deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor. * Maintain cleanliness and order at their workstation and assist in general kitchen organization and cleaning. * Responsible for cleaning and organizing various utensils and equipment used before and during work shifts. * Responsible for properly storing food and supplies in refrigerators or freezers, verifying proper operation and temperature of equipment to ensure correct preservation of food and supplies.
