**Job Description:** An established company in Mexico is seeking a **General Accountant** responsible for managing the company's accounting and tax control, ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and financial obligations, as well as the accurate presentation of accounting information for decision-making. **Responsibilities:** * Recording and controlling the company’s general accounting * Preparing and analyzing financial statements * Calculating and filing federal and state taxes (ISR, VAT, DIOT, etc.) * Filing monthly and annual tax returns * Performing bank reconciliations * Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable * Overseeing electronic invoicing (CFDI) * Responding to SAT requirements and supporting audits * Coordinating with administrative departments and management **Requirements:** * Education: **Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting** (degree and professional license preferred) * Minimum **3 years** of experience as General Accountant or in a similar role * Up-to-date knowledge of **Mexican tax legislation** * Proficiency in **Office software suite** (Intermediate/advanced Excel) * Experience with accounting systems (COI, CONTPAQi, Aspel or others) * Analytical ability and confidentiality of information **Skills and Competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail * Financial and accounting analysis * Responsibility and professional ethics * Planning and meeting deadlines * Effective communication * Working under pressure **We Offer:** * **Competitive salary commensurate with experience** * **Statutory benefits** (IMSS, vacation, vacation bonus, year-end bonus) * Job stability * Positive work environment * Growth opportunities **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:36 pm Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $23,000.00 – $28,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Option for indefinite-term contract * Cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
