




The **Construction Safety Officer** is responsible for ensuring that all on-site activities comply with the safety and hygiene standards established by the company and current legislation. They supervise, train, and guide personnel to prevent accidents and minimize workplace risks, promoting a culture of safety throughout the worksite. **Main Responsibilities** * Daily verification that workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). * Inspection of work areas, machinery, tools, and scaffolding to identify unsafe conditions. * Implementation and monitoring of industrial safety and occupational health programs. * Coordination of safety drills, training sessions, and safety talks with site personnel. * Reporting and documenting incidents, accidents, or hazardous conditions, as well as proposing corrective actions. * Supervising compliance with established safety rules and regulations. * Collaboration with the site resident manager and supervisors to ensure safe work procedures. * Ensuring proper signage, demarcation, and organization in high-risk areas. * Participation in internal and external audits and inspections. **Requirements** * Education: Technical degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial safety, preferably in construction projects. * Knowledge of applicable regulations (NOM-STPS, local regulations, PPE usage, working at heights, confined spaces, etc.). * Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and clearly communicate incidents. * Leadership skills and team-oriented mindset. **Competencies** * Responsibility and discipline. * Effective communication. * Observation and attention to detail. * Decision-making under pressure. * Proactivity and commitment to safety. **Position Details** * Work Location: Field construction site.
